The government has stepped in during a lot of times where monopolies were taking away our right of choice. In 1978, the airline industry deregulation gave us more flights and options. The Telecommunications Act of 1996 allowed cable and phone companies to compete for our business instead of forcing us to pay their increasingly high prices.
And now, with the deregulation of energy companies in certain states, we are now allowed to hire competitors for our electric business without fear of service interruption. This is available in sixteen states including the District of Columbia.
Opportunity for Income
Three of the largest states, Texas, New York & Illinois, allow customers to
choose their own energy provider.
You would think that customers would be scrambling to change their provider, checking rates and reputations of the new companies available now that the floodgates of change have been opened.
But the truth is approximately 70% of these customers have not bothered to change their energy provider, even though the companies can save them money! This is where you come in!
Each year over $400 billion dollars are spent on electricity.
And no longer does all this money have to go to the pockets of corporate giants. You can help convert customers away from the same old utility companies and help them find an electric or natural gas provider that will save them money!
The greatest thing about this opportunity is that you don’t have to worry about customers being able to afford the product or needing it. Everyone needs energy and must budget for it, regardless of if they can afford it or not.

No need to convince prospects about the importance of electricity or natural gas in their lives.
And the opportunity is great with over half of the customers available for this deal not even bothering to change their energy provider. That’s a lot of people to educate.
